Im tired of everyone referring to it as 911, 9-11, or nine one one, That was what the terrorists wanted us to identify it as, to in a sense desentsatize us (make it a catchphrase)
Its not a catchphrase its not something we should ever forget. I was a very rookie cop that year, I signed up to go to ground zero (several cops in my department did with the blessing of our police chief who was a former NYC Police Officer) Me, with young kids and a new wife, I was terrified, but I'd go, Fuckin-A, get some for America. Cops, Firefighters and a part of America died that day. I pray that there is healing, I pray it never happens again, I pray for my brothers and sisters. Amen
